Tax Credit U.S. 2009-2010 Federal Energy Tax Credit has EXPIRED
Chamberdoor storm doors help increase your home's comfort and energy efficiency. Purchase a storm door between January 1st, 2009 and December 31, 2010 and you may qualify for a tax credit of 30% on your federal income tax.

A storm door qualifies for a tax credit under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009 when it, in combination with the exterior door over which it is installed, has a U-factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) of 0.30 or below, and meets the prescriptive criteria established by the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).

How to qualify:
Purchase any Chamberdoor Storm Door – all our storms doors qualify when used in conjunction with qualifying entry doors as outlined below in the chart summarizing application test results.

Claim your Tax Credit
Retain your sales receipt and Manufacturers Certification Statement – keep for tax filing purposes. Claim the corresponding tax credit for your purchase on your Federal taxes. Purchase and installation of qualifying products must occur between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010.
